March 15, 2000 - Tour of the TTC's Harvey and Duncan Shops
During the March Break, a group of TTS members, led by then-TTS President Ray Neilson, toured the shops at TTC's Hillcrest Complex to witness the Bus Rebuild Program. The tour included a short presentation and Q&A before proceeding on a walkthrough tour of Harvey and Duncan shops. Sights along the way were several buses in various stages of rebuilding, as well as streetcars. A highlight of the tour included viewing Peter Witt trolley #2766 as it sat in the lower section of the former Davenport Garage. Many thanks to the TTC Staff and Ray Neilson for a wonderful tour.
